Springer front end feels unstable at high speeds. I own a 2007 Big Bear Screaming Demon with a springer front end. I am a newbie when it comes to front ends so when I found the front kind of "squirrelly" at highway speeds I just assumed that was sort of normal. In the early 1970s, he began experimenting with extended springer front ends on the choppers he was building, eventually engineering them with handling and turning circles much better than anyone else's. The Sugar Bear models are all chopper style, which is custom-made from various parts of bikes to make them extended at the front end. Its stretched out appearance is what makes the bike so unique.
