According to this link it will only be replaced by them, during a 7 year period from the date of first use, which by now has probably elapsed.. I think the best way to remove the visor may be to press inward with a dull blade, such as a small metal putty knife, at the top and bottom along the headliner toward the center. Maybe a small flat-blade screwdriver would be a good tool for the job.
